Online Sunday Worship

Online Worship for Sunday, September 17th

Welcome to worship at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Each Sunday, our 11:15AM service is Live Streamed from our Sanctuary. All who join us online are invited to have your communion elements nearby for the moment in our service when we share Christ’s presence with us in, with, and under the elements of bread and wine.

Today we celebrate the 16th Sunday after Pentecost. In our first reading, we hear the amazing story of Joseph, who forgives his brothers who sold him into slavery. Then, in the Gospel, Jesus calls his followers to forgive seventy-seven times, which reveals God’s boundless mercy. Though these words are challenging to us in our daily lives, they do remind us that, as  sinners who have been forgiven, we are sent forth to share that same forgiveness with others.
