WEEKLY WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
St. Luke’s invites you to worship with us. We have Sanctuary Services every Sunday at 8:30AM and 11:15AM. Live-Stream Services are posted each Sunday morning at 11:15AM on our church website and Facebook page for those who wish to worship with us remotely. Sunday School runs from 10AM-11AM.
We also hold Dinner Church from 5:30PM-7PM in the Family Life Center on the 1st Wednesday of the Month except during Lent and Advent, when we will hold Midweek Worship on every single Wednesday.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
St. Luke’s Sunday School meets every Sunday at 10AM. All of the Children and Youth (3 years old to 12th grade) begin together at 10AM in the sanctuary for a Sunday School Opening that presents the main theme of the day before breaking up into groups for discussion and activities in our Education Building. We also have a class for Youngish Adults, which meets in the Education Building, as well as three other adult classes, which meet in the Family Life Center, including the Augsburg Class, Wired Word, and Luther League.

BACK TO SCHOOL BLESSING
Bring your book bag, notebook, keys, jersey, or other school-related item to church on Sunday, August 9th, for St. Luke’s annual Back to School Blessing at both worship services. All students, teachers, and school personnel will be invited to gather around the altar for a blessing as we head into a new year of learning.
GRIEF SHARE SUPPORT
Need a group who understands what you are going through and supports you in your grief? Consider St. Luke’s Grief Share Group, which holds 13-week sessions that meet on Wednesdays from 1PM-3PM in the FLC Library. If you would like to join their next session, which begins on August 5th, please sign up here.
MONDAY MOTIVATION
Looking for some motivation on your Monday Mornings? Drop by Coastal Coffee Roasters on Mondays between 8:30AM-10:30AM, and enjoy coffee, a Scripture reading, and conversation with friends from St. Luke’s.
PICKLEBALL
Interested in playing Pickleball at St. Luke’s? Join us on Fridays from 1PM-3PM and on Saturdays from 10AM-12PM in our Family Life Center Gym.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
It’s time for our annual School Supply Drive at St. Luke’s, as we help students in need at Summerville Elementary School. Click here for a detailed list of school supplies that you may donate through July 28th.
FREE COMMUNITY MEAL
Our next Community Free Meal will take place in our Family Life Center on Saturday, August 8th, from 4:30PM-6:30PM.
CONFIRMATION PROGRAM
Our 2026-2027 Confirmation Program will begin this Fall for youth in 7th-8th Grades. All Confirmation students are invited for an informational meeting on August 30th at 4:30PM in the FLC.
YOUTH GROUP
St. Luke’s Youth Group will meet for an informational meeting on Sunday, August 30th, at 4:30PM. It will include details about our upcoming ELCA Youth Gathering on June 27th-July 2nd of 2027.
MEN’S BREAKFAST
Our next men’s breakfast will be on Saturday, August 1st, at 8AM in the FLC. All are welcome.
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Every week, members of our church family face a challenge many of us rarely think about. Some can no longer drive. Others are recovering from illness, dealing with mobility issues, or simply have no reliable transportation. What may seem like a simple trip to a doctor’s appointment, the pharmacy, the grocery store, or Sunday worship can become a significant obstacle. That is why St. Luke’s is launching a Transportation Ministry, and we need caring volunteers to help make it possible. Contact the Church Office if you are interested in taking part.
EXPANDING OUTREACH
You are invited to attend and informational meeting on Sunday, July 26th, at 4PM in the FLC to learn about how St. Luke’s can join a network of local churches that respond collaboratively rather than individually to community needs crises, and disasters. To find out more, click here.
END PERIOD INEQUALITY
The Women of the ELCA at St. Luke’s have been working on a project this summer assembling period kits for impoverished women right here in the USA throughout the month of August. Period poverty is the inability to afford or access the necessary menstrual products needed to manage a period. Recent studies show that 2 in 5 people who menstruate experience period poverty. Menstrual products are not covered by any government assistance programs, such as SNAP. Want to make a period kit? Please assemble the following in a 1 Gallon resealable plastic bag, and drop it off at the Church office: Two 2 oz bottles of hand sanitizer, Three 4-gallon bathroom trash bags, One travel-size pack of antibacterial hand wipes (about 20 wipes, unscented), One pack of flushable wipes (unscented, 42 wipes or fewer) , Five regular-absorbency tampons, Five super-absorbency tampons, Twelve sanitary pads (unscented), One bath-size bar of soap (3 oz or larger, in original wrapping; avoid Ivory or Jergens), Six fragrance-free laundry sheets (place in a small resealable plastic bag)
