Neighbors Together

“For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all of the needs in this world and wondered how you could make a difference? Consider volunteering on the third Thursday of the month with your friends from St. Luke’s at the Neighbors Together Community Lunch program from 10AM-1:30PM. St. Luke’s has had a steady stream of volunteers serving lunch at Neighbors Together since August of 2021. 10 volunteers are needed each month. You may sign up on the volunteer list in our church Narthex, or contact the church office. Come and serve lunch with us, as we share God’s love with our neighbors in need. Who knows? Just maybe you will see Christ in your midst!

Neighbors Together is a program that is committed to bringing a better quality of life to our neighbors through sharing resources, developing relationships, and building a sustainable future. They seek to address Four Pillars of Service in the Greater Charleston Community: Hunger, Health & Wellness, Homelessness, and Economic Mobility.  They are located at 2105 Cosgrove Ave in North Charleston, SC.
