Music Ministry

The music ministry at St. Luke’s continues to be, as it has been for generations for our parishioners and community, an integral and inspiring element of worship and outreach. This year, we have enjoyed being part of the Organ Crawl through Summerville as well as the site for Dueling Pianos between Daniel Damaschke and Justin Wham. We have welcomed some wonderful musicians from the Classical Charleston String Quartet at various Church services and festivals, and we even had the pleasure of hosting Charleston AGO’s Hymn Festival, featuring composer, David Cherwein. We are looking forward to our upcoming Christmas Pops Event in December.

We invite you to come and worship with us in song!

St. Luke’s Organ

During our months of quarantine, St. Luke’s was blessed with the opportunity to purchase an Allen organ console that not only offered more varieties of sounds and gave us a better functioning console, but it married with our existing pipes perfectly! The Allen organ company is an American organ manufacturer that specializes in digital organs and hybrid organs (digital and pipe combined). Allen is highly regarded in the organ arena worldwide.
