Welcome, Confirmation Students!
We are so excited about our 2024-2025 Confirmation Program called Discipleship Academy. This new way of doing Confirmation empowers students to take more ownership in their life of faith, as they choose topics, church activities, and service projects that they are interested in and work at their own pace. We acknowledge that each student and personal faith journey is unique, and we hope to give students the desire and tools to continue learning and growing as disciples would in the world. The academy model is set up in a way that anyone in 7th Grade or Older can go through the program. The program is set up for students to complete in 2 years, completing 10 Required Core Credits and 20 Elective Credits per year, but they may take as long as they need to complete it. The process allows our students to feel empowered and ready to commit to a life of baptismal promises.

At the completion of their time of study, our Discipleship Academy Students at St. Luke’s stand before the Congregation for the Rite of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday, which is always fifty days after Easter. Thus, our next Pentecost Sunday/Confirmation Rite will be June 8, 2025.
