What is Faith Webbing?
Faith Webbing is a ministry of intentional connection at St. Luke’s between people of all ages in the congregation. It is about weaving a tapestry of faithful people into the lives of our children, youth, and adults. It is about intentionally connecting the members of our congregation together to help nurture faith. The ministry of Faith Webbing is applied to all aspects of congregational life from Worship Services, to Fellowship, to Sunday School, to Outreach, to our Confirmation Mentor Program.
In addition to encouraging Faith Webbing throughout the year, we also regularly hold intentional Faith Webbing Wednesday events. At these events, we facilitate the connection of children, youth, and adults of all ages through activities, games, food, and stories to help nurture the faith of all involved. We believe that the connections formed at events like these help to bind a person to the church. It is through relationships that the Word of God is shared among our congregation. It is through relationships that the Word of God is shared with the world.
