A new ministry began at St. Luke’s in 2023, and it arose out of a concern for senior citizens who spend their days alone. These residents in skilled nursing facilities are in need of companionship and care from people like us! St. Luke’s Outreach Committee decided to address this need as they organized a group of Caring Visitors from our congregation to visit, call, and send cards to the residents at Summerville Estates. Come join us in sharing the presence of Christ with those who would otherwise have little social interaction with others from day to day. Help them to know that they are loved and not forgotten.
